Abstract
This international standard specifies efficiency classes for fixed- and variable-speed electric motors that are rated according to IEC 60034-1 or IEC 60079-0, are designed for operation on sinusoidal voltage including PWM-converter supplied motors (such as multi- or single-phase AC-induction motors, permanent-magnet synchronous motors).
