Abstract
This draft standard for heat-shrinking joints for plastic insulated power cables with nominal voltages <(kursiv)U>0/<(kursiv)U> up to 0,6 / 1 kV and for compression and soldering joints according to DIN VDE 0276-603 (VDE 0276 Teil 603) describes joints for all types of power cables with this voltage range. The standard is split into two parts. This part 2 describes the insulating and protection sleeves, part 1 the allocation of internal joint boxes, internal construction and dimensions.
